Architectural Narrative
The Forest Sanctuary Suite was conceived as an unhurried refuge where the barrier between indoor warmth and untamed British Columbia wilderness dissolves. Built entirely from salvage cedar, non-toxic mineral washes, and local river stone, the cabin remains naturally tempered year-round. Expansive triple-glazed picture glass frames uninterrupted vistas of old-growth conifers while silencing modern noise.
Mornings unfold with steaming pour-over roasts on the private cantilevered terrace, accompanied only by the calls of Steller's jays and breeze through Douglas fir needles. After sunset, the cast-iron fireplace fills the living area with amber light, offering the ideal sanctuary for journaling, mindful dialogue, and deep restorative sleep.
